Steven R.  Read started his career in fall of 1984 at a local Zales store in Seattle WA.  Steven was intrigued by the jewelry business and educated himself on the finest diamonds, gemstones, and fashion in order to hone his craft.  After a brief but enjoyable tenure with Zales Steven was courted by one of the most prestigious and respected jewelers in the Pacific Northwest. 

 Now a Berkshire-Hathaway Company, Ben Bridge jewelers was the perfect venue for Steven to take his skill and ambition to the next level.  Given their extraordinary traing Steven was able to train along with the GIA Diamond Course.  His tenure in management with Ben Bridge Jewelers was the perfect training ground for Steven to perfect the practice of diamond evaluations, appraisals, and the finest customer service.  After completing a very satisfying and productive term of 8 years with Ben Bridge, it was time for Steven to move into the wholesale phase of his career. 

Private clientele along with limited engagements at some of Seattle's most prestigious Jewelers provided ample opportunity to continue the skills he had learned up until now.  Then in 2001...a brief but very fateful rendezvous with moissanite sales brought Steven to the discovery of Diamond Hybrid...the rest has become not only history, but in fact legend in the jewelry world.
